Rajiv Patel, M.D.



Dr. Rajiv Patel is a graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM). He completed two years in General Surgery Residency at the Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He began his OB/GYN Residency at Penn State Geisinger Health System in 1995 and completed the four-year training program in 1999. Following graduation, he returned to Ohio where he joined SCO OBGYN, Inc., in Wilmington. He currently maintains active medical licenses in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Since 1994, he has been a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and served as President of the organization for 5 years. He has been Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2002 and maintain current recertification.

He is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), American Medical Association (AMA), American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (AIMIS).



He has been a member of the Medical Staffs at Clinton Memorial Hospital since 1999, Bethesda North Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital (TriHealth) in Cincinnati and Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton since 2004. At Clinton Memorial Hospital, he has served in Medical Staff Leadership as Department of Surgery Chair for 9 years and as the Chief of Staff for the past 5 years. Dr. Patel resides in Wilmington with his son and enjoys coaching youth soccer, participating in outdoor activities and sports, listening to music, and attending classic car shows.

Gail Draut, C.N.P.


Gail Draut has been a provider at SCO OB/GYN for almost 9years. Gail has wanted to be in health care since writing a career paper in the seventh grade on nursing. Gail grew up in West Middletown, Ohio and attended Miami University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She spent two years after graduation serving as a United Methodist Missionary for an impoverished population of women and children in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 


She received her Master of Science in Nursing in 1996 from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Gail has specialized in women’s healthcare for over 16 years. Gail has a daughter and currently lives in Lebanon, Ohio. She continues to serve as a short-term United Methodist Missionary going to placements in Kenya, Ecuador and Nicaragua.

Jaime Lynn Evanshine, C.N.P.


Jaime Lynn Evanshine is a lifetime resident of Clinton County. She was born right here at Clinton Memorial Hospital, was raised in Sabina, and now resides in New Vienna with her Husband, Chris, and two daughters, Gracie and Libby.  She began her career in 2001 as a Registered Nurse. She worked as SCO OB/GYN’s Obstetrics Coordinator from 2001-2003. She then worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Childbirth Educator at Clinton Memorial Hospital from 2003-2013.


In 2010, while working as an R.N., she enrolled in Nurse Practitioner school. She graduated the M.S.N. program at the University of Cincinnati in 2013. She is certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner through the National Certification Council. Jaime Lynn is also a member of the National Association of Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners.  When out of the office, she enjoys being a member of the praise team at her church, baking, coaching volleyball, being a sports mom, and engaging in outdoor fun.
